Skills Support For The Workforce

The Skills Support for the Workforce Programme is a free service, created to help small to medium-sized employers turn their business growth plans into reality by upskilling their existing workforce. We work with employers to identify their skills gaps and recommend bespoke training plans which will give their workforce the skills they need to learn/develop and progress to aid overall business growth.

​What happens next?

At initial contact with the employer and employee a thorough Initial advice and guidance assessment is carried out to build the employers bespoke training needs analysis plan.  This assessment will identify work skills required, learning styles preference, overall learning and career goals progression routes and business productivity and growth.

A fully comprehensive tailor made training plan is agreed with the employer and the employee to capture the skills and development areas that will improve the employee’s career opportunities to progress within the business and to fulfil their own personal goals and aspirations.

Initial advice and guidance is embedded throughout the programme, progression routes  and career aspirations are built into the Learning Plan and reviewed with the trainer, employer and employee to ensure we are meeting business demand and career opportunities.


​How will training be delivered?

We offer a wide range of short courses that can be built around how you work, whether you would like these delivered over full day courses, weekly training sessions or something in between over a maximum of 10 weeks. This is completed within your own workplace and we can train your staff individually or in a group.

All TW4U employees are remote workers and are flexible they visit learners at the most appropriate time and locations.  There is also the opportunity to work remotely through the use of electronic learning packages. Bespoke learning activities are carried out that are engaging and motivational to the employee.
