Training Works 4 U is working in partnership with Tees Valley Combined Authority to promote green spaces in the Tess Valley Region.
The project aims to create an easily accessible assistance programme for all. Whether you’re a resident, a multinational company or any organisation or group in-between, we’ll help you to benefit from tree planting and boost woodland creation across the region.
The two-year programme will work with a wide range of organisations including businesses, landowners, farmers, communities, schools, environmental charities, and others to carry out the planting of one million trees.
The programmes aims for woodland creation and tree planting, support businesses, landowners, and community organisations to secure funding to deliver planting projects and to facilitate an annual free tree planting scheme for Tees Valley residents.
Funding is through the Forestry Commission’s Woodland Creation Accelerator Fund and the North East and Yorkshire Net Zero Hub and is supported by the Woodland Trust and the Tees Valley Nature Partnership.
